In this class we will break down all the hype and hubub about everyone's favorite new tech lingo and explain what it actually means for your business.

From the sea change in how software is sold and delivered to the always-on power of cloud software, our instructors will look at why things are changing, where the dangers are and how moving to the cloud can mean real value and competitive advantage for those who make the jump.

We'll begin with history of how business software got started and where it's going. From Mainframes to PCs and then to smartphones, technology has changed the way we work at every generation.

Next, we'll explore why software companies are starting in the cloud and how those advantages have allowed these "Software as a Service" providers to offer a better software experiences for customers.

Adrian Sanders started VM Associates three years ago in Paris, France and has worked with companies of all shapes and sizes on every continent except Antarctica.

Adam Neary started Profitably after a decade helping CFOs of Fortune 500 get their head around their numbers. The goal is to find a way to give startups and small businesses the tools they need to compete with larger companies...in much less time and for much less money.
